My project was done on a ship in the British Royal Navy the HMS Belfast, and how my grandfather's work in the Navy brought my family to Canada. The Belfast fought many important battles, including D-Day, and played a significant role in the Battle of North Cape, one they were specially honored for with a plaque. In my project I found many connections that tied Canadians to not only the Belfast, but to the British Royal Navy in general!
