Jeunes Citoyens / Young Citizens

Gunther Calgary, Alberta

Fair address: Calgary Regional Heritage School Fair

Project: RCAF

In this project we are going to tell you about the start of RCAF, the planes, the wars they have fought and more!

What was the most interesting thing you learned about your topic?

The variety of planes the RCAF has in stock and their history! There are trainer planes like the snowbirds, fighter planes like the CF-18 hornet (one of the only fighter planes) and more!

What important lessons have you learned that you want to share with other Canadians?

Try your best. Don't always give up when you see your first obstacle. The only way to succeed is to learn through your mistakes, and go on with that.

How would you compare your life today to the lives of those studied in your project?

My life has been way better and getting better since I started this project! I would say never give up, and when you look at the finished product, you are going to thank yourself.
