Siobhan Pond Inlet, Nunavut

Fair address: Nunavut Heritage Fair

Project: Inuit Mitts

My project is about Inuit mitts

What was the most interesting thing you learned about your topic?

Inuit mitts are used to keep us warm during the cold winter season.

What important lessons have you learned that you want to share with other Canadians?

Needles to sew were made from ivory, bones, or antlers.

How would you compare your life today to the lives of those studied in your project?

Hunting is still important today for Inuit in Nunavut for food and warm clothing.
