Video about Carl Quinn- Cree Singer/Chief/Elder/Activist from Saddle Lake, Alberta

What was the most interesting thing you learned about your topic?

Carl has a unique sound that combines pop, rock, pow-wow and electronica. It rocks!

What important lessons have you learned that you want to share with other Canadians?

Music is a good way to share your culture and it is important to celebrate everyone's culture. Love one another, help one another and enjoy each day!

How would you compare your life today to the lives of those studied in your project?

Carl grew up Cree and learned traditional ways of doing things. I am not Cree and I grew up in a different culture. Carl is a gifted musician and I prefer art. Carl is a wise elder who has had lots of life experiences and I am a 10 year old girl who has a lot to learn still. Carl is a role model for Canadians and I am just the girl who makes the video about him to share with others!
